OTTO Upholstered Bed Base

The upholstered box spring is an important part of your bed, as it accounts for up to 40% of its firmness. We designed this box spring to be both comfortable and eco-friendly.

High-quality materials

To offer a premium product, we have selected only the highest-quality materials. The frame is made from poplar. This wood is known for its strength and durability, ensuring the Kipli bed base has optimal longevity. The poplar we use comes from PEFC-certified forests. This certification guarantees that they are managed in a sustainable and responsible manner. The elegant upholstery is made of 100% linen woven in France. The linen used comes from France and is woven in northern France. This material has the advantage of being natural and eco-friendly. Furthermore, its beautiful natural color adds elegance to the Tapissier bed. As for the padding between the wooden frame and the upholstery, we have also chosen a natural material. Unlike many upholstered bed frames that use polyester, we’ve opted for linen fiber. In addition to being eco-friendly, this natural material is breathable and lightweight. In fact, linen has the advantage of being a material that requires little water and no fertilizer to grow. Once woven, it is a strong and durable material.

An eco-friendly bed frame

In line with our commitment to offering healthy furniture that helps reduce pollution in our homes, the Kipli upholstered box spring is made without synthetic materials, such as polyester. By using French wood, linen woven in France, and manufacturing in the Centre-Val de Loire region, we promote responsible, local production. Combined with the use of natural materials, its environmental impact is minimized. It offers optimal support and firm comfort thanks to its rigid, uncovered slats. This bed is fairly easy to disassemble, allowing you to move it effortlessly—especially when moving—thanks to the slats that can be removed and rolled up.From its composition to its design, it was conceived as a durable piece of furniture, built to last regardless of trends. That’s why we created this product to be understated, elegant, and comfortable. It perfectly aligns with our commitment to producing durable furniture to encourage more mindful consumption.
